Hi! If vmxnet3 works, keep it. There must be a problem with this public address. At providers like OVH and Hetzner you must set the given MAC address for the public IP to work. This public IP works anywhere else ?

I Recommend you to backup all your stuff and format this PVE with the newest ISO. Your life will be easier, trust me.

You would get better results using an router. Since Proxmox isnt built to be the router, you can create a VM to act as one. Im doing this, running routerOS inside Proxmox let me do all this routing stuff and much more!
