All,

I have uploaded images from proxmox wiki and put them in the appropriate directories

• SOs /var/lib/vz/template/iso
• Images /var/lib/vz/images
• Templates /var/lib/vz/template/cache

The issue I have is none of the new images show in the create vm options. Am I missing something?

How is your Storage setup right now? May be a copy of your storage.cfg will help to point out the issue. It seems like whatever storage you have setup, ISO and Templates option is not turned on.

For some reason I have to upload the images through the gui for them to work.

For some reason I have to upload the images through the gui for them to work.

If the ISO is large, the GUI will not be able to upload it. At least i never had good luck with it. I always use client like FileZilla to copy ISO files.
Post your storage.cfg so we can have better idea of whats happening and if anything missing there.
