Opteron 16-Cores

Hi Guys,

we consider take new host systems with AMD's 16-core Opterons in operation. Has anyone of you experience with it?
Proxmox listed in the specs only "Dual-oder Quad-Socket-Server (Quad / Six / Hexa-Core-CPUs)".

Hi, I'm running quadsocket opteron 16cores (63xx), so 64cores total, without any problem.

(and kvm guest works fine with 64cores too

Sounds very good! We are planning a setting with four 6380 and 512 GB Memory. It should be a test-system: Probably we install 6 systems of them as cluster for hosted VMs...
