Change encryption key

Hey there,

I want to update/consolidate my encryption keys and I don't want lose access to my old backups.

I've read that there is no "native" way to do that. What is the best way to achieve that?

You can't re-encrypt; instead you can point new backups at a new key and keep the old ones archived until retention has pruned the last snapshot that used the old key.
