Upgrade Warning

Attempting to upgrade my 8.4.17 to 9 but I'm getting the following warnings in the Repositories panel Status.
I disable pve-no-subscription bookworm but have pve-no-subscription trixie enabled then in the Status window it's displaying "No Proxmox VE repository is enable, you do not get any updates! with a red warning.
If i enable pve-no-subscription bookorm and leave trixie enabled I get a yellow error "Detected mixed suites before upgrade".
What is the correct selection or do I have it seup wrong?

I using the offical guide, https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_8_to_9, so I'm sure I'm missing something.

follow the guide step by step, your error indicates you did not enable or configure the trixie no subscription repo

The old web GUI does not know about the new repositories for the new version. I don't think the upgrade guide asks you to check the (old) web GUI while upgrading to a new version.

The warning/error is indeed correct as you are mixing different versions. The upgrade guide does not tell you to do this, and you should not mix versions.

You are switching from bookworm to trixie. You are replacing old repositories (which are known by PVE 8) to new repositories (which are not know by PVE 8, but are intended for PVE 9). You appear to be overcautious and seeing problems were there should be none.

A bit further down on the screen message
If you are unsure why 'proxmox-ve' would be removed, please verify
-your apt repository settings.

As a result I am a bit reluctant to proceed.

Either you missed a step in the upgrade guide or something else is wrong with your repository configuration. There are existing threads about You are attempting to remove the meta-package 'proxmox-ve'! which might help in troubleshooting this. Double check that you only have the trixie repositories for (all three) Debian and for Proxmox enabled.
