New to Proxmox (Noob) Having issues with Network Configuration

Hey guys,


Wanted to get into the homelab scene. Need help setting up my first proxmox box. I bought a mini pc and installed Proxmox 9 on it but for some reason I am getting some network configuration issue. I used my router IP as the gateway like I saw in reddit and I picked an IP that wasn't lease/reserved anywhere listed in my router's dhcp server list. The DNS I used is 8.8.8.8 as in Google. Do you have any assistance I can follow?

Sounds good. So..., what is your problem?

Please report a) what you wanted to achieve, b) exactly what you did, c) what you expected to happen and d) what happened instead.

If possible do everything on the command line and place full quotes (including the full command and the full error messages) here - in [code]...[/code]-blocks, reachable via the "</>" symbol.
