How do I train Bayes as to what is SPAM and what is not? It's producing so many false positives that it may make more sense to just turn it off.

Yes - we recommend disabling Bayes for a while now - if you get many false positives - I'd recommend to check our Getting Started page in the wiki (and all pages linked from there):

The recommendations there should help you get a setup which works well in most cases.
