Spice button does nothing?

Hi.

Trying to use Spice with pve version 3.1-3. When clicking on the spice button, nothing happens.
Tried both firefox and chrome. Am I supposed to receive a config file?

You configured the VM to use spice (qxl) as display? And you installed virt-viewer at the client?

Yes to both. I'm using xubuntu 12.04. When clicking multiple times on the button, chrome asks me if I want to download multiple files.
Clicking allow does nothing.

You're probably not running virt-viewer 0.5.6+ are you?

Ah, that might be the issue. I'm running 0.5.3. Will try to upgrade

I have the same issue with 13.04, I'm going to try to install from source or upgrade to 13.10.

I saw that, but that PPA just has a more recent out of date version. I'll rather build my own from source of the most recent 0.5.7

Haven't tried space-vdagent
