S3 datastore not listing backups unless 'refreshed'

Every few days I check my PBS web UI and notice that my S3 datastore has an empty list in the 'content' section. After I press 'refresh contents from S3 bucket', it takes about 15 minutes, and populates the list again. However, then I go back into the web UI a few hours later, and the list is again blank. Is this expected behavior?

What version of PBS are you using?

Using Backblaze B2 S3 API. PBS 4.0.13.

Bucket size is 28TB.
