subcription license inquiry

hi there

im new to proxmox but i have a noob question please dont bash me, im not yet started to run a second server but my plan setup is have redundant server. my main server st650 and my second server is st250 now i wanted to buy subscription for main server if i setup the ceph do i need to buy another license for the second server to make it work?

Basically you need a subscription for each and every CPU registered in that cluster to get a clean state.

Ceph is not a separate product. You buy subscriptions for PVE (and PBS/PMG...)

Ceph runs atop an existing PVE - at least here, in our Proxmox context.

Don't use ceph with only 2 servers, you should at least have 3 servers for testing, for production better use 5 servers ...
