Hello,
PBS 3.4.3 on both sides. WAN connection is super stable 1Gbps.
Source PBS reports: "Timestamp: TASK ERROR: connection error: connection reset: connection reset"
Destination PBS (the one with the sync job) reports after a while: "Timestamp: sync group vm/405 failed - timed out" for every sync-group"
Both sides were perfectly syncing wit PBS 3.3.3
this errors happen on every sync-group now.
already tried to set timeouts higher. source just drops connection w/o reason. destination gets timeout after a few minutes after that and continues with next sync-group, until same error.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

HI,

which timeouts are you referring to here?

Is your source datastore otherwise operational? do you get any errors in the systemd journal of the source PBS host?

HI,

- just the ipv4 tcp timeout higher in systctl.conf, but returned to original values, since no change.

- both, source and destination are operational, no other errors, warnings or something in any logs. hardware is ok. backups running perfectly. also the connection between both PBSes is 1Gbit syncronous, highest latency is about 6-8 ms.

- syncerrors appeared just after update to 3.4.3. also, GC got a lot slower. i will try to downgrade PBS packages to 3.3.3 asap and report.

- only special thing: destination is PVE and PBS installed side by side on the same machine, i run there two small VMs that are not critical for private testing purposes.

i will edit this post with logs, versions, etc. tonight.
