Tracking Center Question

Were there changes to the tracking center recently?

I've set logrotate to retain up to 2 years with compression enabled
IIRC tracking center was and should be crawling through all those compressed files, even if that means longer waiting times.
That does not seem to be the case anymore.

Only logs in uncompressed files show up in the tracking center.
When I gunzip certain files, those logs then also show.

Is it supposed to be this way or did I mess up somewhere?

nothing changed in those code-paths recently
how do your files look like (filenames)? - keep in mind that the log-tracker only checks /var/log/syslog, /var/log/syslog.1, /var/log/syslog.2.gz.../var/log/syslog.31.gz for data:

Not sure what caused the issue or what helped in the end ... for some reason all the logs show up again way back in the past.
Might have been a reboot ...
Consider this one solved.
