Good day

A question about an error I get: After updating from 2.2 to 2.3 last friday I found out that the nic's on my VM machines are not stable anymore. When I copy big iso images( > 3.0 GB) the nic in windows 2008 is up and running but losing his connection. When I ping from a device somewhere in the network to my VM it is not reacheble anymore. I did some reading and one of the solutions is to change from the rtl8139 to the intel1000. But what I try i keep getting the message:

unable to open file '/etc/pve/nodes/proxmox/qemu-server/101.conf.tmp.3376' - Permission denied (500)

Any idea what is wrong with my configuration.

thank you in advange

try to restart

#/etc/init.d/pve-cluster restart

Thanks for the quick replay, sry to say but it didn't help. I now that I have tried to make a cluster but that didn't work (wrong switch at that moment, without the multicast tools etc).

I found the problem with > pvecm e 1. It did the trick for me. I was able to delete the cluster and the node etc and from that moment I was able to edit the settings again
