I successfully installed Ubuntu Server on my VM, but am unable to login because the console doesn't respond to my keyboard. Any advice? I'm currently using the noVNC console, the other two options SPICE and xterm are greyed out. Whats odd is I am able to use the shell of the host node, but unable to use the console of the guest vms.

SOLVED:
had to turn off hardware acceleration in microsoft edge

Just found this older post and I can confirm this fixed the same issue for me as well.
Only difference compared to the OP, is that I use Brave browser.
But turning off the 'Use graphics acceleration when available' option in the settings > system, worked.
