I tried to install PVE 8.2 on new build system. It is build with AMD RYzen 5 4500, Gigabyte A520 DS3H V2 with BIOS FEb, 3*34 GB Kingsten DDR4-3200, WD Black SN850X with 2TB, nividia Geforce GT730-4H-SL2GBD5 and a 16 TB HDD.
Memtest shows no errors.
I build the usb Stick with rufus and had no problems. The sticks is shown at boot as UEFI:KingstonDataTreveler,Partiotion2 and Kingston-Data-Treveler. Boot from both partitions shows the same results. I have tested with 2 different sticks und BIOS version FEb and FD - no changes.
Here now what happens at boot after initail RAM Disk
- Welcome
- initial setup startup
- mounting proc filesystem
- mounting sys filesystem
- EFI boot mode detected, mouinting efivars filesystem
- loading drivers: nividiafb ahci nvme ...kvm_amd intel_rapl_common
> here stops the installation. nothing happens also after long waiting

Hope someone can help or give some advise where to look

Hi,

nividia Geforce GT730-4H-SL2GBD5
loading drivers: nvidiafb

it seems to try to the Nvidia GPU driver, as can be seen from the nvidiafb entry in the loading drivers: line.
Esp. Nvidia drivers are known to behave badly, unfortunately that's a problem with the green company.

You can try setting the nomodeset parameter - that normally always solves this problem: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#nomodeset_kernel_param

Otherwise - if that doesn't work for some reason - you can also install stock Debian 12 and then Proxmox VE on top of it: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_12_Bookworm
Or try our relatively new unattended installation option: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Automated_Installation

... I have changed all HW Components and found out ... the system installs when I use another grafikcard insted of the GT730-4H-SL2GBD5 (4 HDMI output + 2 GB RAM DDR5).
What to do next???

As I said above, this is normally a problem with Nvidia cards. If you swapped it out to a non-Nvidia card, this is what you could expect.

What to do next???
Please elaborate what you mean exactly with that - have you installed Proxmox VE successfully?

Insted a Nvidia have used an old ASUS EN8400GS Silent/HTP/256M/A
Thanks for our Information about Nvidia. I think that I will change the CPU from 5 4699 to 5 4600G
