Seek help from PVE 7.3-6 to install the specified CEPH version

Requirement: Because the default PVeceph installation is to install the latest version, but I need to install CEPH version 17.2.5. How should I proceed? Is there a detailed method?

You need this in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ceph.list :

deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/ceph-quincy bullseye main

This will enable access to the latest Ceph 17 packages on Proxmox 7.

Thank you for your reply, but my requirement is how to specify the version and I do not want to upgrade to the latest version.

In that repository are all versions available. You just have to pick your version when installing the packages.

apt-cache showpkg ceph-base

apt install ceph-base=17.2.5-pve1
