To be honest I was trying to install the latest version available. There is nothing possible to do either than install an older version? My server hardware is a HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 If this kernel is not suitable or compatible to this server, can anybody pin point me to the correct one?

You don't have to reinstall PVE to try another kernel. At least not when trying some of those not that old kernels as PVE comes with some older kernels in case the newest one isn't working properly.

This is not a bug/broken kernel.

The HPE servers by default the IOMMU disabled on all of the PCIE ports.
If you need IOMMU ( PCI-E passthrough ) you need manually enable using "conrep" util ( https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/hpe-ml-dl-server-series-pci-gpu-passthrough-pve8.131361/ )

You can ignore those messages.
