Can I use PVE in commercial environment?

Hi,
We (a small company) need some virtual env and we have a bare metal server, can I install PVE on it and use it, without buying support etc ( I know lack of support might be risky in some cases). Thank you.

Why not? But if the system is for productive use you should have

- reliable hardware, especially enterprise grade drives, efficient cooling, etc.
- a good backup strategy (an additional PBS would be optimal)
- relatively good knowledge in linux (Debian) administration

A subscription is NOT mandatory but helps the developers (even a small community subscription).
