is there anyway to perform cloning?

With Proxmox VE:

1. Create the image/VM
2. Make a backup
3. Create as many instances as you wish with qmrestore

Example:
Create 10 new VM´s based on a backup, starting with VMID 10, ussing unique MAC addresses:

qmrestore --storage local  --repeat 10 --unique vzdump-qemu-150-2011_12_04-15_53_02.tar 200

cool thanks. btw, is this something that might be baked into the web gui sometime soon? i sorely need this as our clients needs it.

Backup/restore is already on the GUI.

Just so I understand the command properly, the "200" at the end is the new VM ID, right?

qmrestore --storage local  [COLOR=#417394]--repeat[/COLOR] 10 --unique vzdump-qemu-150-2011_12_04-15_53_02.tar 200

So, if I repeat the task 10 times, will it increment from 200 and up to 209? Or can I specify the VM IDs I want to use?

AFAIK, '--repeat' is not implemented for 2.X
