Recommendation to upgrade a Ceph PVE cluster

hi would you suggest to OUT any OSD on a NODE Prior to upgrade it ?

No. Use "ceph osd set noout" before doing the upgrade and "ceph osd unset noout" afterwards.
Wait for the Ceph cluster being healthy again between node reboots.

this is not exactly the same as pressing , out in the GUI ?

No, to the left is the button "Manage Global Flags".

If you set an OSD to "out" manually, all data from it will be drained. This is not what you want during an upgrade. This is done before replacing a faulty disk.
