Hello all,
a couple of days ago I set up a new node for my existing Proxmox and created a cluster. Second node use ZFS storage, 12 cored, 16Gb of RAM. I tested a vanilla Ubuntu Server before without reporting any anomalies, then yesterday migrated one of my VM from node one (ext4, lvm-thin) to the second node. The VM runs a kubernetes node of my kube cluster.
After I migrated I suddenly noticed the increased usage of RAM on node 2 even if only one VM with 8Gb of RAM was running. When I stop the VM still about 8Gb of ram seems to be allocated on the second node.
Can someone please help me to understand this and if there's a solution?
Thanks,
