Ceph storage

hello all

I've a cluster with two node

all my vm disk was stocked in HDD
and i have a ceph pool for my OMV

all work fine for few month , today i want increase the capacity of my ceph storage.

i have no space for one disk , i must replace my 1TO by a 3TO

first i do what i need for the ceph pool accept the new disk
all fine

the pool was increase 5TO ---> 7TO. with the command ceph -w i see the migration of pg. all it's ok

Problem the storage of my cluster no increase , see the screen shot




See available space it's still 5TO

how i can increase the rbd storagewithout lose data. Thanks

Just to have it said, running Ceph on a 2-node cluster is not a supported setup and there might be dragons But you are most likely aware of that.

You have the same setup regarding HDDs / SSDs in both nodes right? Did you switch for a larger HDD OSD on both nodes?

Nope i juste replace un hdd on node 1

Old hdd was 1to
New 3to

Hmm, how are your OSDs set up? Normally you have the same set of OSDs on the nodes so Ceph can store the replicas on the nodes. If you still have yours set up like that, you will also have to replace the disk on the other node. Only then will Ceph be able to store the second replica (assuming a size=2) as well.
