Hi,
My proxmox setup involves installation of the OS on 1 120gb ssd and the VM stored on a separate larger 256gb SSD.
The 120gb disk failed but the 256gb is still intact. I have installed proxmox on a new 120gb ssd however I am struggling to gain access to the VM on the 256gb SSD.
For clarity please see below. nvme0n1 is a new nvme ssd that i wish to use as vm storage. I have called it vmdatastore.
sda is the old 2.5" sata sdd which has the vm data i wish to copy to the new nvme ssd.
I have created a new vm 100 on nvme0n1 to match that of sda, however I do not know how to proceed.
Note I have tried using the qm rescan command in shell to try and bring up the "unused harddrive" option within the hardware option of the vm but it didn't work.
