Adding content roles to storage

Hey guys-
Loving proxmox ve
How can i add more than one content role to my additional storage.
Meaning i have added additional storage, but it will only let me define its role as one of the following "ISO, Backup, Or Virtual disk."

I would like to define it as all three contents, like how the default setup does to the first hard drive where OS is installed.
I understand why this isnt a good idea, but it must be possible as the proxmox installer does it to the first drive. The /var/lib/vz mount point can be all three "ISO and Backup and Virtual disk." How can i do that to newly added disks.

I think i understand. So like i can just make different mount points on the same disk for storage content...
Like
/mymounts/disk2/iso
/mymounts/disk2/vdisks
/mymounts/disk2/backups

I just cant make it pretty, like how the installer does for the OS disk "local"

Is that what you mean?

I have one more question, just because i can tell from previous posts your the guy to ask.


I have the whole 4GB free space for snapshots thing on LVM figured out for all my additional disks, and its working great. I just had one question, my backup destination is not an LVM. Where the backup snapshot is saved is just a plain ext3 disk (working great) any problems with doing in that way? any reason my destination should also be LVM?
