Hi Everybody,

i have a stupid problem here with the vzdump. I am pretty sure that the problem is me and not the software^^. The only problem is that i just simply do not get what i am doing wrong.

My goal is to exclude a directory. Lucky enough vzdump offers an option called "--exclude-path". JIPPY, i thought:D

But when i add this to the cron.d/vzdump i get the error message " WARNING: Unknown option: exclude-path"

And this is what it looks like

root vzdump --exclude-path '/var/lib/vz/root/101/mnt/' --quiet --suspend --compress --storage pve-backup 101

Can somebody tell me where my mistake is?

btw, i am using version 1.7 of proxmox.

Thank you very much in advance.

Robert

Where do you get that error - when using the web interface? AFAIR the web interface do not understand those special options. I suggest that you define your own cron job instead.
