Hi guys, I need to create some CT with MPTCP kernel installed, how can I create custom kernel to add it to Proxmox VE and run the CT with MPTCP kernel?

You can find our kernel sources here: https://git.proxmox.com/?p=pve-kernel.git

Theoretically it should be as simple as dropping the MPTCP patches into ./patches/kernel and then running 'make deb' - but here be dragons, as building custom kernels is not officially supported by us.

The path is relative to the git repository I referenced. It contains patches that are applied to our custom PVE kernel, but you can add your own in the same folder.

Keep in mind, building your own kernel is not a trivial thing and can lead to many unexpected errors.

Maybe it's enough to install the packages provided by MPTCP (https://multipath-tcp.org/pmwiki.php/Users/AptRepository) and not have to compile a custom kernel?

I think in this case I have to set that kernel as default kernel
