Hi!
1. Is there any way to mount a local folder on a VM in a similar way that VirtualBox can share a local folder with a VM?
I don't want to use any network related protocols to mount my local folder.
2. Is there any way to simulate that a specific folder is an attached as an USB-drive if the above is not possible?

Not out of the box.

Disclaimer - I’m a complete newb when it comes to virtualization.

I find this answer so surprising that I’m certain I’m missing something. If I have a Proxmox node with an internal SSD that I’d like to have mounted in a VM directory (which happens to be something I’m trying to do now on my install), am I understanding correctly that this isn’t supported/doable?

Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, P9 virtfs not supported in Proxmox VE.
