Add discard option after disk creation

Hello,
I would like to change the "discard" option in some disks I have created some time ago on a ceph filesystem.
Is it possible? Is it safe?

Did you never changed idea on discard feature after you created a disk?

I`m not so sure of your situation but - If your VM is using not scsi disk and Windows VM dont have scsi driver then
1. Add new scsi disk.
2. Install driver.
3. Remove new disk.
4. Change manually driver option in config file

If you are talking about discard flag - you can change it with no worry.

then you use a disk controller type which does not support discard
this only works with scsi and virtio-scsi as controller
