Hey,
I am using an LSI HBA in passthrough mode for ZFS. I have been having issues with udev, which eventually fails, causing a very long boot and causes the ZFS automount service to fail.
Looking into it, it seems like it's the MPT driver that's causing the problem. The output from /var/log/messages that seems to be relevant is attached. The HBA is in passthrough mode, the disks appear, and ZFS mounts fine manually, but the log is littered with "Issuing Reset from mpt_config" warnings.
