Hello, our server has 5 physical ethernet ports but it is listed 8 in the VE:
eno1
eno2
eno3
eno4
enp4s0f0
enp4s0f1
enp4s0f2
enp4s0f3
enp4s0f4

So I would like to know why is listed like this, and how to identify wich ones are physical connected ( we have no DHCP)

Thank you

That explains nothing other than why it resolves reenumeration of ports. It does not explain why there are more than what is showing on the NIC, more specifically on the Network tab of the GUI. It certainly does not instruct on how to make changes. I've been trying to find the reason as well.

One particular question which would solve this fiasco is: If my <eno1> is my ethernet in from ISP, and its "predictable" name is given <enp0s25> then using <enp0s25> for my slave on a linux bridge will work persistently?

Anyone have useful input? Thanks.
