Help me choose a new network card

It works perfectly fine on ESXI 6.0 but on Proxmox it won't get detected, I already disabled the onboard nic.

When typing lspci it showed something along the lines of this 82541PI
Can someone please help out?

Sent the intel NIC back, what card should I buy now?

Looks strange since your card is supported since 2.6.x by e1000 kernel module. Anyway Intel NICs like i350 or 82576-based looks acceptable (for servers).
