4.2 / New GUI timeframe?

Hi there,

I am about to carry out a major datacentre migration and during that time, an upgrade of our proxmox cluster.

I have just seen that new packages have made their way into pvetest including 4.4 kernel and new GUI.

Whats the timeframe for full release? Will it be out within the next month or 2?

Hi,

We normally do not and also cannot give specific time frames of releases, but with those packages hitting pvetest I'd guess that in a span of a month the release should have happened, should.
Please do not pin me down on an exact date, I don't know one.

Thanks, that means with any luck, 4.2 might have been released just in time for my move.
