CEPH Monitor Issue

I recently had to rebuild a failed Proxmox PVE node by reinstalling Proxmox, adding the node back into the cluster, reinstalling ceph, and bringing the OSD back into the pool. Up to that point everything came back fine. The problem is that the node failed unexpectedly and so is still listed in the ceph monitors. When I try to destroy or create it, it fails.
