Hi @all,
maybe this is an easy question.
Today I started to upgrade my PVE 3 Server using the Update menue.
During the update I am asked where grub should be installed. The choices are: "dev/sda... Array 10", "/dev/sda1 ... /boot" and "/dev/md-0 ... pveroot".
Which one is the right choice here...
Hello,
this is maybe a stupid question but the Wiki says:
I do use NFS Storage but when I hit Move Disk (I try to move a Disk from local to NFS Storage) I can only select local. Maybe I do not understand the move part ? Or does it only work for Cluster ?
My pveversion:

Hi @all,
maybe its a simple question:
I allocated 50GB space for root during the installation.
The GUI is showing me:
HD Space (root): Total 49.22 GB
Used 46.57 GB
I was wondering how I can find out whats using the space and how I can free up some space.
best regards
Hi @All,
I am running a Proxmox Server where vzdump.conf is not configured. Meaning no change in the conf. All options are commented out.
I used the GUI for crating a backup job. I backup 4 KVM Windows Systems and in the Task viewer I see the line below.
Is this an error?

Hi all,
Just a question for my understanding:
When I create a new harddisk throu the GUI I see that the default cache setting is "Default (no cache)" which is fine.
But in the <vmid>.conf I do not see the "cache=none" behind the harddisk line. Where can I see if cache is really off?

Hi all,
I have a customer who is going to use proxmox as its main virtualization platform beginning next month.
Now the "tricky" question I have:
Even so 2.0 is still beta, is it stable enough to use it and avoid a new installation when using 1.9 instead?
Can backups from 2.0 be used in 1.9 or...

Just curious:
I am running a 1TB RAID 10 system (currently with 64k stripe). I was wondering what the best strip size would be for optimum performance.
I use mainly Windows Server VM's with RAW files between 30-200GB. In windows the file format is NTFS with 4K cluster.
So basically I...
