Hi all,

I have a customer who is going to use proxmox as its main virtualization platform beginning next month.
Now the "tricky" question I have:
Even so 2.0 is still beta, is it stable enough to use it and avoid a new installation when using 1.9 instead?
Can backups from 2.0 be used in 1.9 or 1.9 backups be used in 2.0?

I would go with 1.9 if the 2.0 final is a couple of month away but my understanding is that 2.0 final will be released shortly.
Any recommendation from staff?

Kind regards
B.

the next milestone is 2.0 rc1 (release candidate 1). all rc are expected to be updated to 2.0 stable without troubles, rc1 is already in heavy testing in our labs and will be pushed to the repos as soon as all blocking bugs are fixed.
