I think I figured it out, enabled the local loopback interface in the /etc/network/interfaces file and I can login now.

Using the CLI under root account I get a permission denied.

Not sure what the storage identifier is or how I should find out, either way, I'm just trying to figure out why I can't login, is there someway I can run a debug on the CLI while trying to login via web to see whats going on?

Upon further investigation, running the "pvesm list" command yields me 400 Parameter verification failed. storage: property is missing and it is not optional

I had to do a reinstall of Proxmox because I screwed up the partitions, but I got it up again and working fine, except that I can't login to the web interface with the root account, just keeps saying login failed. I'm using Linux authentication, and I can SSH into it using same password. What gives?

Got it working, played with the etc/network/interfaces file and got 1 port on my Intel dual nic to work. Now need to get link aggregation working :)

I'm trying to install PVE onto a single disk. I've gotten rid of the RAID arrays, and they are all single discs now. I get an error, unable to install boot loader. Another error in the log: unable to identify a filesystem in hd0; safety check can't be performed.

Thanks. Is it even worthwhile to install PVE on a RAID array? Or can I just install it on it's own drive, and the configure a RAID5 volume separately after PVE is installed?

Gotchya, is there a hardware compatibility list somewhere I could look at?

What would constitute this card as fake? Just wondering.
