Hi, I advise running Memtest for a good couple of cycles.
Successful installations in the past don't guarantee that the hardware is in working order now. This applies to RAM as well.
I have experienced myself RAM modules running properly in PCs...
I am just now seeing this but thought I would share some information since I have extensive experience with Spectrum Protect. SP does not back up data in a native file format and there is no officially supported way to migrate from SP to PBS...
Okay, thanks for confirming. This is a supported configuration, however there is a bug in how pve-firewall builds the ARP filter from those IPSets. Alias members are not resolved, which aborts the generation of all ebtables rules for the guest...
Thank you for the suggestions! Unfortunately, I don’t have enough hardware available to build and test a Proxmox cluster, so I’ll focus on a single-node setup for this experiment.
However, the idea of virtualizing the environment and using...
This is not recommended for running VMs on, and therefore not realistic, according to the community: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/fabu-can-i-use-zfs-raidz-for-my-vms.159923/
While I do not run large clusters but only a few smaller ones I see some additional failure sources - random thoughts:
is it a cluster or a single machine? For a cluster you may inject network errors/outages
I am not sure how to emulate Ram...

Hello rmaxhost, I must admit that I probably do not understand what you're asking, sorry.
When you install PVE from the installation .iso (usually from an USB stick) you can select ZFS and create a mirror, utilizing those two S3610. That's fine...
Sorry, I just wanted to mention that one ;-)
Every administrator has a separate account, right? If not: how could you tell who made that big mistake last night? ;-)

Hi I appolagise if i am in the wrong place. I was torn between here and installation/configuration. I have seen a lot of posts about changing the ip address of your proxmox setup and to be honest the web gui and cli both seem to work fine. I had...
no, not sure about that RT USB card, but, can you remove it and assign in /etc/network/interface your primary bridge(vmbr0) to use intel onboard nic so you can eliminate RT as cause of this problem.
@Bu66as @micneu
danke euch für die Tipps. Ich habe es gerade von meinem Jumphost via firefox versucht und Tatsache von dort funktioniert es:
Was aber nach wie vor komisch ist, von meinem Rechner von wo novnc bei node01 nicht funktioniert...
Hi! First, a quick disclosure. I'm one of the developers at Hetman Software, a Ukrainian company that has been developing commercial data recovery software for over 15 years.
I hope this doesn't come across as self-promotion. I'd like to propose...
