Bekanntes problem bei Synology. Wenn du fertig mit einrichten bist und alle Berechtigungen passen, musst du auf der Syno im Folder die .lock Datei löschen und dann geht der Zugriff.

we have fully integrated openvmm into proxmox - as You can see here, its fully Hyper-V, no qemu, also works on linux with hyper-v. it runs in userspace and is a type 2 hypervisor. We support MANA and Mellanox network adapters and much more, to...

Hello everyone, I recieved a quite unusual request, whether it is possible to not allow users to view and manage objects in Spam Quarantine with a score of 8 or more or if it is even possible to move mail with a score of 8+ (for example)...

Can confirm. Had the exact same problem. Running apt full-upgrade on all cluster nodes to get libpve-storage-perl version 9.1.9 and then re-running the ceph key rotation procedure using the proxmox helper script fixed the issue.

Nevermind found the answer, libhide.so malware, cleaning up and doing a clean install.

Yeah I guess so. By the way, I totally see how this could cause problems in enterprise environments, especially when it comes to backups that are retained for a long time and end up having the same VMID as a newer VM that may serve a completely...

Thanks for your insights. Since ProxmxoVE changed to lxc with PVE 4.0 ( see https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Convert_OpenVZ_to_LXC https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Roadmap ), which was released in 2015, so more than ten years ago ;) So I guess that...

Interesting. I did a little Googling, and it actually seems to be a relic from OpenVZ: https://wiki.openvz.org/User_Guide/Operations_on_Containers#Choosing_Container_ID However, I also found the following: it seems that even OpenVZ moved away...

Proxmox started as a virtualization platform based on QEMU and OpenVZ. In the OpenVZ system, virtual machine (VM) ID numbers are configured to start at 100. Have you ever wondered why, when creating a VM on a new system, the option to start with...

Hi @deskr, yes, it's mostly working well. But there are still a few issues to be ironed out before we would like to drop the disclaimer. For example: offline export/import for remote migration disk size currently being limited to around 16 TiB...

@jim_os und @Bu66as Danke für die Antworten. Meine Nerven hätten es mir nicht ermöglicht. Wäre nur wieder "diffus" geworden.

Thanks, I did some further testing to narrow this down. I tested 7.0.14-17-pve first. The high idle power consumption was immediately present after boot, so I didn't test -18 or -19 since the regression is already present in -17. I also tested...

Hi all, I've been building a self-hosted web management panel for Proxmox VE 8.x / 9.x and would like to share it. It started as a way to give my team a narrower, self-service view of our cluster without handing out full PVE access. Repo...

Hi, do you have a specific reason for using the encryption feature of ZFS, instead of self-encrypting drives?

Thank you, that is what I ended up doing. I needed to get it up and running fast so did not want to go into rabit hole that I dont know the depth. But luckily it worked fine. For now it seems fine. Hope nothing pops up from the dark corners of...

I cant argue that I know much about the system. But actually you are wrong. I had installed Proxmox 7 using off the shelf installer on a btrfs raid on usb flash drives. So it was possible. Probably somebody went through the hassle to explicitly...
