It is a relatively new disk, proxmox webgui showed no issues. Will retest it anyway soon. Shutdown has clean with 5-min cooldown. -

How about an option 4. 4. Ask windows to stop the silly crap with the clock and just expect the RTC to be in UTC. I did this once and it worked, but that was for a short-lived test VM so I can't say if there were problems I didn't use it...

I wish I could! We're teaching cyber security and they have to learn how to lock down a PVE system and the VMs that run on them. We don't give 'em root or a PVE admin account, but they do have a sudo-like account for some of the Terraform stuff...
