Jwe already have previous reports about HPE MSA (and Dell) appliances misbehaving in exactly this fashion - they advertise support for zeroing unmap, but only do it when the request matches some conditions, and simply ignore the zeroing part...

I see it exactly the other way: each non hardcoded setting is a moving target. Usually servers should have a stable configuration, nothing dynamic. DHCP is only for clients like laptops/mobile/desktops... Just my two 2 €¢...

SSean Kain replied to the thread shell does not show file path.I'll necro this just for others, if they get the same issue. The main reason is due to default shell being set to sh, not bash. Change the shell in /etc/passwd for the created user from /bin/sh to /bin/bash and re-login.
