For a cluster you can get all node resources with:
pvesh get /cluster/resources --type node --output-format json
An example for a csv export (package jq needed):
pvesh get /cluster/resources --type node --output-format json | \
jq -r '...
Do we have any update on this? I'm needing to be able to have DHCP/IPAM working for VLAN based SDN zones, and I'm really not wanting to have to setup multiple DHCP services operating on the underlying routers of these affected VLANs.
I ended up using SDN with VNets wirth "Port Isolation" - It's kinda finnicky though, because I need to add a separate net interface for each VNet, requires a lot of configuration... But it works.
My main "issue" was that separate LXCs could find...
A few comments about your observations:
There is absolutely no "valid DNS name" requirement for a VM name in the PVE, cluster or solo.
This is Ansible creator's choice, not Proxmox's.
A clone creates an identical copy of a VM, resizing a disk...
There is an older thread about cloning with ansible: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/problems-cloning-from-template-with-ansible.106527/
where it is also shown, that the targetid must be set to prevent Proxmox VE automatically assigning an...
Your setup sounds quite good and what you are describing is what i would also do. The alternative would be to add the pbs a second time with the login of pve01 in the DR case.
Ok @huganega , I think we've figured this out. It takes a combination of things to trigger:
- A link that's "fast" (i.e., 25GbE) relative to your CPU (Skylake or Cascade Lake)
- A backup load running at full queue depth
- An array that doesn't...
Hi all,
I'm running the cephx key migration (aes → aes256k) following the official procedure in the pveceph docs, and it fails on Step 1 (rotating the shared mon. key), before touching anything else. Looking for confirmation on the safest way to...
You should by all means discuss any concerns you have with PVE directly, either with Proxmox or a reseller during the pre-sales process.
There is nothing inherently impossible about changing software architecture. Whether a particular change...

I have different environments in my lab that I like to test, such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, and various operating systems like Windows and Linux. All of them need access to ISO files, which is why I maintain a central ISO...
Schau mal in /var/log/apt/history.log...
Hello everyone,
I ran into the same issue many of you have faced, and I’d like to share an easy fix that worked for me.
Like some of you, I store my ISO files on a NAS and mount it as an NFS export to my Proxmox hosts,
but the ISO files were...
I use IPv6 for both underlay and overlay. I have configured the evpn in the Proxmox SDN and I run a route reflector on an Aruba switch. I have tried to attach a IPv4 address to the loopback address in addition to the IPv6 but it does not help. I...
