note that historic rrd/task data (etc.) will not be migrated over, so you might loose some rrd/task history (though i'm not sure if it's safe to just simply rename those folder/filenames too, they would be in /varlib/proxmox-datacenter-manager/ )

Thank you for the replies. We ended up fixing an older kernel using the proxmox-boot-tools command line tool and then updated to a newer kernel after version 30 and that fixed the issue for us.

Absolutely great work !!! After applying the registry hack and rebooting our Idle times are now the same as on pre 24H2. CPU idle less then 1%.
