It still works with current kernels as the io_uring bug has been fixed.
According to https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/process/maintainers.html OCFS2 is actively maintained.
You’ve saved another upgrade. I was stuck on the same issue OP had above and this right here fixed everything. Just wanted to make sure you knew. Thanks!

Sektorgröße und Verschleiß: da passiert real fast nichts. ZFS-Metadaten sind so gut wie nie 512-Byte-Häppchen, Dnode- und Indirect-Blocks liegen im KB-Bereich, du verschenkst also kaum was durch die 4K-Allokation. Und intern arbeitet jede SSD...

What could be done to improve your feeling? Maybe switch to HyperV or VMware or Citrix and connect them directly to the internet without updating for years? I don't expect anyone to not update those for years at a time. How's Proxmox different...

And? As long as there are enough nodes to have a vote the cluster will still continue to work. So even if one host is victim to a ddos attack the other nodes still communicate with each other over the corosync network(s) and the cluster will...

That is generally not the case - this is often times a symptom of partial visibility (one node can see the other but not vice-versa). This can often happen when using e.g. LACP bonds.
Regarding my earlier response. I tested this on another system and it was not reporting the numbers expected. The python script forces NX splits and demonstrates that splitting happens. However, the bug is driven by cumulative split/recovery...

Deshalb sollte man ja beim Pooldesign schon genau schauen was man erreichen möchte.
