hi,
passthrough can always impact the host if something is not right (since the pci card can interact with the remaining hardware still).
Can you post your vm config (qm config ID) and the journal from a boot where it crashed/hung?
Hi @shodan,
yes, the issue for EFI disks is fixed in PVE 9 when using machine version >= 10.0 for the VM: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3227#c27

This is available on 'Tape Backup' -> 'Inventory' -> 'Set Location'
note you can only do this for tapes that are 'offline' (so not currently visible from the pbs side)

Seems like the root cause for the issue is the same as here https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/pve-loses-network-connection-after-kernel-upgrade-to-proxmox-kernel-7-0-0-3-pve.183865/#post-855135 - although I think in your case it's a different...
1 NIC -> Corosync
TASK ERROR: command 'setpriv --reuid nobody --regid nogroup --clear-groups --reset-env -- /bin/bash...
Welcome to the forum, SpiceGuy,
I think the part that's causing you some confusion here is that an LXC container has its own filesystem namespace. So /tmp inside the container is not the same /tmp you see when you SSH into the Proxmox host...
