The combination of 7.x with 9.x is untested and explicitly unsupported. Are the PVE 8 nodes updated to the latest 8.4.y? Otherwise it is untested and could be unsupported. PVE 8.x is (about to be) unsupported completely. I'm afraid your cluster...
The usual cause of elevated pvestatd CPU is storage polling, it stats every configured storage on each cycle.
Check whether it's logging timeouts:
journalctl -u pvestatd --since "7 days ago" | grep -iE 'timeout|unable|got status'
And see what...
Check what's mounted:
lsblk -f
Then what your storages point at:
cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg
If the mirror is unmounted, your data is intact and this is a mount fix rather than a recovery job.
After restoring from Proxsave I was able to follow the instructions in https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-pvecm.html#pvecm_separate_node_without_reinstall and recover the node from the failed cluster and connect it to PDM
Thanks, I had been previously using "drm.edid_firmware=edid/1280x1024.bin" in /etc/default/grub which then failed on upgrade to Proxmox 9 and generated additional errors. Removing and replacing with "video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60e" followed by...

I can't edit the first post, so here is the solution that works for me on proxmox 9, since I just updated to it.
I just forced the mode in the kernel parameters according to this Arch-Wiki:
I added "video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60e" to the...
Passt so.
I encountered an error trying to start one of my containers; the error had something to do with space shortage on the container which I didn't understand because there should've been enough space for that container and there weren't that much...
You could use a VM instead of an LXC and pass the GPU directly to the VM [0]. This would mean the driver lives in the VM, pick a distro and kernel that has NVIDIA support and skip the host. You'll need IOMMU enabled and the dGPU in a usable IOMMU...
