Unlike Linux Cloud Images, there are no Windows Server VM images provided by Microsoft, so I created pve-build-windows-template to generate PVE friendly VM templates. A non-interactive run turns a Windows Server ISO into a sysprepped...
PVE isnt very good for/at multitenant applications. Since KVM works natively on these platforms, an operator for such usecase is more likely to just deploy them to a cloud native orchestrator, eg Openstack.
Have a look on Pegaprox: https://www.pegaprox.com/
Especially the Migration Feature: https://docs.pegaprox.com/migration/esxi-migration/
In Short: you can Import the running VM including driver change, and after that only changed data needs to...
Sorry aber das hilft mir nicht. In der Doku steht hierzu auch nichts hilfreiches.

Well I can imagine a usecase, where somebody wants to rent outs part of their Nvidia/ARM64 hardware and want to give their customers the possibility to use ProxmoxVE since they are already familiar with it. I mean if you are not running...
I installed Proxmox VE 9 for Arm64 on my Ampere Altra Max Developer Platform this morning - video is up here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg263L1W97w
The install was fine, but when I tried creating my first VM, using the Ubuntu 24.04.1 live...
Thanks for your feedback. FWIW, Ubuntu VMs run fine on our 144-core NVIDIA Grace system, but yeah, that's an ARMv9. We still can improve compat if it's cheap to do, or maybe just some config options needs changing. Can you please open a new...
Just got it loaded up on my Ampere Altra Max 128-core system, and install was a breeze.
Once I had it running, I tried creating an Ubuntu 24.04.1 arm64 server VM, and the process was going through fine... but at a certain point when the Ubuntu...
We are excited to announce the first release of Proxmox Virtual Environment with official support for a second CPU architecture: 64-bit ARM (arm64/aarch64). Until now, Proxmox VE was available for x86-64 (amd64) only.

Hi Everyone,
Disaster recovery keeps coming up with folks moving off VMware, usually as some version of "what replaces SRM?" We've answered pieces of this in threads for years, so we finally sat down and wrote the whole thing up properly...
Dont conflate Nvidia hardware support as "AI." All this means in practice that nvidia "incentivized" Proxmox GMBH (probably with an NRE paid with nvidia couch change) to port PVE to their ARM cpus. Not really sure what for since the majority of...
