Incus/lxd is for managing lxcs and qemu- vms so basically the same usecase as ProxmoxVE with the same tech stack beneath it. Support for qemus MicroVMs would be nice indeed, kind of sweet spot in terms of isolation and resources usage compared...

I will be receiving the same k15 (with 48gb ram) this week. and goal is to install proxmox for jellyfin, dockers containers, and vm's (like ubuntu & home assistant). I'll keep you posted about my progress. Jellyfin will run as a lxc container...

Actually, looking back at what I wrote, a lot of it doesn't really make sense. Proxmox LXC is already an alternative to LXD/Incus, and microVMs are, simply put, more like application VMs, a bit like Docker containers, but with their own kernel...

Wird nicht helfen aber: Bei mir klappt es inzwischen, ohne das ich was tun musste/konnte... scheinbar hat in meinem Fall die CA was geändert.

Hi @grass127, We do have a lot of this data internally, but it isn't organized as methodically as the original tech note was, so it's hard to publish anything rigorous. What I can tell you is that the relative changes in performance are not...

Thanks for your reply! Unplugging the power cable didn't help. I also tried all bays. Yesterday I restored to UGOS to check with another OS. Nothing worked. The output of your commands above: root@dxp4800pro:~# lspci -nnk | grep -iE...

So far I am aware of this plugin only: https://github.com/TheGrandWazoo/freenas-proxmox (cluster runs on TrueNAS Core using iSCSI over ZFS and uses this tool to integrate snapshots with TrueNAS). Indeed this script was installed (version...

Hello. i've been trying to do the upgrade from 8-9 and keep running into the fail issue: systemd-boot meta-package installed....remove 'systemd-boot' . i've checked/installed grub - no issues ran the efibootmgr -v cmd looking for grubx64 but am...

Maybe the idea is to make it a competitor to microVMs, LXD and/or Incus, or something like that. I don't know. That would probably be useful for larger customers. That said, to me it looks like they're trying to carve out a niche in between...

@Casulo use Windows 10, not Windows 11, in this way we need to find the issue on Windows 10.

Docker=the mechanism for shipping a container Kubernetes=Orchestration tool for containers They're not in conflict or "better" then each other.

It not only supersedes docker but also the hypervisor. You don't necessarily need a hypervisor if you have a way to deploy Kubernetes clusters baremetal. A hypervisor might still make sense if you want to distribute resources between different...

Yeah, it's not quite that simple. But LXC, was definitely never designed as an orchestration tool for Docker containers. ;) Anyway, do whatever works for you. You're going to do that anyway. :D

Yeah, I actually find it kind of awkward. Dangerous, not so much, if you know what you're doing. I've never had a VM crash after a Proxmox update, and I've been using it for about 10 years. Not on my lawn. ;) But yeah, I guess in enterprise...

Hi, @klosz007 Are there any "helper scripts" installed, by chance?
