Is it possible you are missing the step that you need to click the "Target Remote" pull-down in the Migrate menu and change to the other remote before selecting the target node?

JJ-Rod replied to the thread Node to node migration without a cluster.Only nodes in the same cluster would show together in the lower pull-down. So I think you need to figure out why the second node isn't showing as a Target Remote in the upper pull-down.
