7.0 and 6.8 already contained the fix, 6.17 with the fix is on pve-test at the moment:

- proxmox-kernel-6.17.13-16-pve
- proxmox-kernel-7.0.6-2-pve
1: because the answer to 3 is yes, the bitmap tracks dirty writes since the start of the backup, since the backup itself is based on that point in time (it uses copy-before-write filtering, so that data being overwritten is backed-up before it is...

If you receive a GPG signature verification error, you can bypass it by adding the --no-gpg flag:

Verify new snapshots won't cover reverify ( which you should do from time to time), a hook script to start a verify might work though ( not sure ). "Remote vanished" is a bad idea: Imagine some bad actor managed to prune your backups, then they...
Hi all,
We currently have a PBS set up at our main location with a second PBS pulling a backup to a remote location. I would like to add airgapped backups for the worst case. I thought of having two external drives, that will be rotated and...
Thats why. it isnt possible to expose JUST the resources allocated to the container. Which means the container has the capability to read other datasets (the security hole) and damage/destroy them (the practical risk.)
The whole point of the...
Didn't you find something in the old threads? https://forum.proxmox.com/search/19854848/?q=Eaton+ups&o=date
Why? If the web ui would contain something for any possible hardware the UI would be quite cluttered
Thanks for fixing the Bad Epoll CVE, do you know if this CVE-2026-43499 is present in current kernels?

Moin,

mhmm in the subscription registry we already show the socket count per remote, maybe a node count there + total count there could be enough? or does it have to be on the dashboard?
Good question Dominik! To show decision makers the CPU Socket counts for subscription orders.
Edit: ok, thinking about it. Maybe All Remotes count, Remote count, Node count? Like the "Remote System Updates" view but with a CPU Socket count column?
For some of my clients/potential clients, and especially the ones I am promoting a subscription order .. that screen does not appear to show. Does seem to be the ideal spot to list the information tho!
Hi Proxmox enthusiasts!
I faced an issue with iSCSI fault tolerance in Proxmox. The current version of Proxmox lacks native support for iSCSI with multipath, which is critical for maintaining infrastructure reliability. To address this, I...

Right but the batch file has a load of switched for programming different regions. Boot partition, backup boot partition, main, etc. My concern is only have portions programmed.
You missed the point. ProxmoxVE provides a plugin API so third partys can provide plugins for an integration of their storage or backup products. Since they (as developers of said products) propably know their products better than the Proxmox...
