Hi Johannes,
We already run a local PBS per site and take local backups, but some sites don't have enough local storage for VMs and backups, so S3 is our offsite copy, problem is the site links are thin.
The thing I'd love a dev answer on (I'll...
Isn't the main problem with virtualized gaming today that all kinds of multiplayer games have some anti-cheat mechanism to detect running in a vm? So that you have a never-ending cat/mouse game and must hope that you don't get banned for...
You missed the point. ProxmoxVE provides a plugin API so third partys can provide plugins for an integration of their storage or backup products. Since they (as developers of said products) propably know their products better than the Proxmox...

Hello,
I am using Proxmox VE with Proxmox Backup Server storage.
I have a VM backup job using PBS in snapshot mode. One VM has around 298 GiB disk size. The backup completed successfully after scanning/processing almost the full disk.

Just add a select with "MiB", "GiB" after the input.
But honestly I dont know any guest OS that runs fine on sub 1 GB RAM - but that may be my shortcoming.
is it possible to input the ram of a vm in the "create VM" gui in GB increments on top of entering the exact MB required?
eg, 8GB instead of 8192MB via a dropbox for MB, GB, TB
